From the Founders: Our Story
We’re Enzo and Holden—two lifelong friends with a shared obsession for anime and tattoos. Our journey started years ago, fueled by countless late-night anime marathons and a mutual passion for body art. We always knew we wanted to combine these two loves, but it took some time to figure out exactly how.Like many anime fans, we both got our first tattoos in our late teens, and from there, the addiction only grew. We loved the idea of wearing our favorite characters and scenes on our skin, but we also understood the hesitation that comes with permanent ink. Not everyone is ready to make that lifelong commitment.
In 2022, after years of dreaming and planning, we decided to create ANIMETAT—a brand that lets you showcase your love for anime through high-quality, semi-permanent tattoos. Our mission was simple: to give fellow anime enthusiasts the freedom to express their fandom without the permanence.What began as a small project has quickly grown into a thriving community. Our first designs were met with excitement, and it wasn’t long before we started shipping orders around the world.
